Episode 18: Vogue Live Pre-Game Show

Lamb Dishcloth Cutie-pie!

Only two days until Vogue Live starts in LA!!!  Today we share our pre-game plan for the show.  We'll just have to wait and see if we get to meet our goals!

You can also find our Podcast on iTunes as Yarn On Tap, and our RSS feed is http://www.sock-aholic.com/yarnontap.xml

Wendy's Siesta WIP
What's On Our Sticks:
Kelie:  Transition Point Socks from the STR Club by Star Athena
Kelie:  Lamb Dishcloth by Katie Schu  SUPER CUTE!!!  free Rav download
Kelie:  About to start the Opposite Pole sweater by Joji Locatelli
Wendy:  Siesta by Carol Feller

Seaside Shawlette

New KAL!  Seaside Shawlette KAL starts 10/4.  No purchase necessary - we'll be posting the pattern pdf on the Ravelry board on the day the KAL starts.  Kits are available by Clicking Here in a whole bunch of colors if you are interested - kits include the yarn, pattern, and a cute stitch marker.  To sign up for the KAL, visit our Ravelry Board by Clicking Here!

Dreaded Knits!
Kelie will be making major progress on her Swirl Shawl by Lijuan Jing, thanks to dashiemouse!  Dashie has set up a swirl-a-day challenge on our board to help them both finish their projects.  Good luck to both of you!

Wendy will be frogging her The Prettiest Hot Pad Ever.  It's hopelessly made out of inappropriate yarn.  I will be promoting my Big Bertha Twinset to be my new distinguished Dreaded Knit.

Vogue Live will be this weekend, September 23 - 25 in LA at the Century City Hyatt Regency.  We are super excited to be exhibiting!  Find us in Booth 69 where we'll be stalking celebrities that we want to tattoo  :-)  We're looking forward to meeting our customers, and hanging out with folks to chat and knit.

  8. I'm thinking that 2 of the little lamb dishcloths could be turned into a super cute zippered pouch.

  9. I bought a couple "big Bertha's" yarn skeins myself. I love that they are so huge. Love the lamb dishcloths. They would make a cute pouch sewn together.
