Episode 19: Voices from Vogue

Here are links to some of the things we mentioned:

Awesome Chic-a Bag Set Kelie Bought
Chic-a Bags:  Owner Joanna is a really nice lady!  www.Chic-a.com

Wolf Farms Video Podcast:  Dawn, Nicole, and Lois are super cute and friendly knitters.  They have a great shop filled with herbal soaps, lotions and other fabulous smelling goodies!

Windy Valley Muskox:  Qiviut!!!!  We bought fabulous little precious balls of a blend of 45% quiviut, 45% merino, and 10% mulberry silk.  218 yards - laceweight.

Kelie'e leather closure from JUL Designs
JUL Designs:  Really clever button-like closures that allow you to add buttons to garments without having to actually put in button holes.  The stem of the buttons have a threaded end that a back screws onto.  You just pop the stem through the garment and then screw the back on.  Very cool!

The Buffalo Wool Company:  They have the most adorable baby buffalo on the home page of their website!  I bought Buffalo Gold 45% American bison down, 20% cashmere, 20% silk, and 15% Tencel.  330 yards laceweight.

The Green Sheep Shop:  Booth Babe Beckey bought a ball of Pakucho Qoperfina Sport  97% Fair Trade Pakucho Color Grown Organic Cotton with a therapeutic infusion of 3% Soft Virgin Copper.  150 yards.  Qoperfina combines the finest combed organic cotton with pure and natural Angelina copper staple fiber, an intimate blend yielding an incredibly soft, durable and healthy yarn with both fashion and therapeutic values. The copper adds a beautiful subtle effects a hint of glimmer to the cotton, although it is not flashy.  Beckey got a really cute butterfly washcloth pattern with this yarn, too (which I can't seem to find on their website.)

Cheers-
